I’ve recently been tinkering with a list of one hundred core readings in the academic field of animal studies, which is now posted here. I hope it might be helpful for graduate students and others, but it’s mainly an ongoing exercise for myself in thinking through the field’s foundations and future directions. wired wilderness
Just added a note about my forthcoming book, Wired Wilderness (click here or on the link in the sidebar). It still needs to be proofread and indexed and won’t be on the shelves until December, but after working on it for six years or so it feels pretty good to see that page on Amazon.
